How is the springs now

The first gear linkage was funny as it reminded me of our first gear pops! Seems here like the gear lever linkage just needs adjustment and from what I can remember, it is quite easy. We used to have a white transporter which my dad converted to a camper with a V6 as well. He made the engine cover himself with a little box integrated to cover the carburetor inlet which was connected with a pipe to the side air vent, all in a way to save space. I used to sleep at the back on a double bed similar to this combi's. The carburetor had an abrupt overrun cut off. So, first gear used to pop out to neutral when one quickly lets go of the accelerator. This could also have been because of a weak engagement spring in the gearbox. My dad bought the V6 engine with radiator and hoses at a price that the cooling system alone would cost but the engine burnt some oil. After maybe about 100 000 km he reconditioned the engine and had the gearbox overhauled because of some bearing hum. The combi had plenty of more horses after that but he unfortunately scaled down and sold it.

The swag is a novelty but your pop up model is practical.

No temperature gauge does worry me and sitting in Cape Towns traffic means you have no idea whats "cooking". I need a vehicle for my handyman business and as no small bakkies are being produced, the eeco is my only real option. At least it doesn't have all the bells, whistles and sensors which can go wrong and cost a tonne of cash to fix.

Something about the video reminds of how people drive over speed bumps with dropped Vtec's and GTI's thinking its now a 4X4. I have to edit and also say, this is probably the best 4X4 video I've seen so far. Hectic down hill moments with rocks falling and bakkie sliding.

Hoe het julle nie by Die Hel uit gekom nie? Tjom julle moet terug - ds een van die mees amazing plekke ooit. Kry n chalet op Berghof by die pad af, neem vroeg oggend die pad, kamp oornag op kamp stasie en dan mission vroeg oggend Die Hel toe. Kan steeds selfde dag terug as julle tyd moet spaar, maar bes om weer oornag te kamp.
